Hello, I’m Raven!
My journey as a photographer has evolved a lot over the years. I started with disposable film cameras like most millennials, and fell in love with the underwater capability when those came out. After creating a travel scrapbook from my first vacation and spending high school as yearbook photographer, I thought someday I’d land myself a career with National Geographic. Turns out those aren’t exactly salaried positions! I took the college route and studied business, acquiring the tools I needed to ultimately build a business for myself. Through the years, photography has taken a backseat while I pursued different ventures but it has remained a joy I find when capturing friends and family, and those I encounter through social endeavors. I’m trying to put more focus into my photography, and building my clientele to do what I love a bit more.
I enjoy capturing moments of joy between loved ones, candid smiles at events, movement and grit through sports, the artistry of performance and design, and the endless beauty of nature. I keep my editing minimal and I prefer to work outdoors with natural light.
There are a lot of talented photographers to choose from when looking for professional photos. My advice is to take a look through galleries and bios and choose whose style and point of view you resonate best with. Every photographer approaches a session differently and the more easily you connect, the better your photos will turn out. Thanks for checking out my site!
